This ancient house next to Menai strait was the home of the Marquess of Anglesey, who was in command of the cavalry during the Waterloo battle.
The manor has been redecorated during the 18 century by James Wyatt and contains now a military museum.
What makes its charm is the view of Mount Snowdon from the garden.
-For a walk in the garden and admire the scenery
-For observing the birds
-To visit the house (unfortunately it was closed when we visited the property)
-For all of the children’s activities
The garden and park are well maintained and simply magnificent. The view is breathtaking and an irresistible urge takes you to stay contemplating the landscape forever. The atmosphere is so nice and relaxing that you come out of the visit peaceful and serene.
If the weather is nice take your picnic with you.
